It looked as if Young Thug crazy ass was giving the middle finger to the Crips in the video for Dej Loaf’s “Blood” and the reaction has not been good. Thugger’s choice of hand signs caught the attention of Watts rapper Glasses Malone, and the Crips affiliate called out the Atlanta rapper on his Instagram page.

@AmberRose Say "@ChrisBrown GF Not Making Him Happy"

Well this might explain why Ms. Rose decided it was a good idea to back that a** up on Breezy. May be she was trying to cheer him up.

HollywoodLife is reporting that the model doesn’t think Karrueche is a good match for Brown:

“Amber is, “not trying to come between Chris and Karrueche. That’s not her business,” but she still wants to make it clear to Chris that he should “snap out of the misery that Karrueche has put him through.” Ouch!

Plus, Amber is skeptical of the fellow model.

“Amber thinks Karrueche is conniving. She feels Karrueche puts added pressures on Chris and demands too much of his time,” reveals the insider.

As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Breezy and Amber got quite cozy at an L.A. nightclub on Dec. 19.

The model and the singer were seen grinding on each other, while Karrueche was disgusted after seeing a video, which showed Amber twerking on Chris.

Perhaps this is Amber’s way of cheering Chris up?

After all, Amber “thinks Karrueche could do more to help Chris in his time of need,” adds our source.

“She wants to lend her ear to him. She knows deep down he’s going through stuff and is in pain and seeing as how she cares abut him, she doesn’t want to see him hurt,” explains the insider.

“Their vibe and connection is great and Amber does want to develop that friendship further. But as far as being with him, only time will tell,” an EXCLUSIVE source tells us. “

Don’t you think you should get your own household in order first before trying to wreck someone else’s….?

@WizKhalifa Didn't Drop His Sextape ! WHY?

Hip-Hop Rumors: Wiz Didn’t Drop Sextape Because Of What?

A couple of weeks back rumors were flying that Wiz Khalifa and porn star Carla Howe had a sextuple floating around and it would soon be released.

A few days later the rumors were put to rest when Wiz refused to sign off on the deal, but according to Perez Hilton the was reasoning behind the decision:

“Wiz’s performance in the tape wasn’t great and that’s the main thing which had him against putting the tape out. The low porn offer was down to his performance, and I guarantee he will be trying to release something in the future.”

The source also confirms that it was Carla who axed the tape’s release, because she can do so much better (partner-wise and money-wise).”

@YG Get Put On Blast By GF

A couple days back a pic surfaced of YG and his boo Catelyn coupled up at a family function, but according to her Instgram things have gone all the way sour.

Word is YG held her down while she was locked up and now wants her to accept what he’s coming with. TheShadeRoom posted screenshots of a post made by homegirl and she’s saying YG is giving out gifts you can’t get rid of:

Khloe Kardashian Admits Relationship With French Montana Was Rushed

Khloe Kardashian has finally shed some light into her on again, off again relationship with artist French Montana, who she began dating shortly after her split from estranged husband Lamar Odom.

According to Khloe, “It’s nothing against French. I just think I don’t want a boyfriend,” she explained. “I jumped into something because I was just, like, lonely and destructive. But now I’m like, I just want to be alone.”

After admitting that the “Don’t Panic” rapper was highly entertaining, she also revealed that some of his behavior was a bit more harder for her to handle.  She shared, “There’s highs and lows in every relationship…. I have no idea why French calls me 5,000 times a day.”

@TheGame Gets Deep

The Game and other Hip-Hop heads took it to the streets to protest police brutality on Saturday with the Millions March.

The march also brought out DJ Mustard and Tyga who walked in solidarity with thousands of other peaceful protesters from Pacific Park.

The march went straight down the streets of the city without incident.

The Game has been outspoken against police brutality for years.

Earlier in the month, New York hosted the Millions March NYC that convened upwards of 75,000 people including Hip-Hop artists like Nas, Torea and Immortal Technique.

@Beyonce Spends Time With @JayZ On His 45th Bday

JAY Z CELEBRATES HIS 45TH BIRTHDAY WITH BEYONCÉ IN ICELAND

In honor of Jay Z’s 45th birthday earlier this month, BeyoncĂ© and Jay Z traveled to Iceland for a celebration in the snow. Mr. and Mrs. Carter bared the freezing temps, but still looked like they were having a blast in the wintery wonderland.

Donning orange ski suits, they rode snowmobiles through the arctic tundra and honored Mike Brown by posing for a photo with their hands up. The couple took a helicopter ride (we see you, Blue), sipped champagne in the snow, and warmed up with a swim in the hot springs (check out a bikini-clad Bey throwing up the Roc).

Bey was all smiles as she rolled around in the white powder, and presented her hubby with a cake during an intimate dinner.

The Carters are currently in Phuket, Thailand for the holidays.

Berkeley,MO Officer Shoots A 18 Y.O

A police officer in Berkeley, Mo. fatally shot a black man who reportedly pointed a gun at him last night, authorities say.

According to the Associated Press, St. Louis County Police Department spokesman Sgt. Brian Schellman said the officer was checking on a gas station in the St. Louis suburb just after 11 p.m. when he was approached by two men. When one of them allegedly brandished a handgun, the officer opened fire, killing him.

In his statement, Schellman said the other man fled, noting that police recovered the weapon. While police declined to release the victim's name, a woman who identified herself to the media as Toni Martin said he was her 18-year-old son, Antonio Martin. Martin told NBC News that her son had only gone out to see his girlfriend:

He only just left the house to go see his girlfriend. Maybe he started to run and they got shooting, she said, adding that she did not think her son was carrying a gun. Toni Martin — who said her son's girlfriend had told her about the shooting and brought her to the scene — told reporters Antonio had turned 18 in September and used to attend nearby Jennings High School.

Pharrell Made Only $2,700 In Songwriter Royalties From 43 Million Plays Of 'Happy' On Pandora

Pharrell is sad about his royalties.

This past year was great for singer Pharrell Williams. His song "Happy" secured him Grammy nominations for Best Music Video and Best Pop Solo Performance.

Despite Pharrell's ubiquity, "Happy" made $2,700 in publisher and songwriter royalties from 43 million Pandora streams in the first quarter of 2014, according to an email from music publisher Sony/ATV CEO Marty Bandier obtained by Digital Music News.

In the letter, Bandier said a million streams of a song on Pandora yields roughly just $60 in royalties. “This is a totally unacceptable situation and one that cannot be allowed to continue,” Bandier wrote.

Fusion's Rob Wile points out that these numbers aren't all inclusive and don't include performance rights royalty rates, so Pharrell likely earned more than the paltry $2,700 figure.

"According to industry analyst Michael DeGusta, Pharrell would likely have earned approximately $25,000 from the 43 million plays," Wile says.

Bandier added: "We at Sony/ATV want these digital music services to be successful because they are a great way for music fans to listen to music and have the potential to generate significant new revenues for everyone. However, this success should not come at the expense of songwriters whose songs are essential for these services to exist and thrive."

Pandora is the most used streaming service, which paints an ugly picture for artists looking to make a living off of their craft. Taylor Swift recently spoke out about how little artists make from streaming, claiming that services like Spotify don't value her art. Swiftpulled her entire catalog from Spotifyin protest.

Given how little he's making, it comes as no surprise that Pharrell is among a group of artists demanding that YouTube take down thousands of songs it doesn't have permission to share. If YouTube doesn't remove the 20,000 songs, a legal group called Global Music Rights — which represents artists including Pharrell, the Eagles, John Lennon, and Smokey Robinson — says it will bring a $1 billion lawsuit against Google, YouTube's parent company.

Who Failed @BobbySmurda? XXL Story

My friend Sowmya Krishnamurthy interviewed Bobby over the summer for theVillage Voice and asked him about his past. His answer was interesting and truthful.

You mention selling crack since the 5th grade on “Hot N*gga.” What does selling crack mean to a 10-year-old? I was watching Nickelodeon at that age.

That’s the thing. I was never chilling with kids my age. I was chilling with older kids. In school, I was always bad. I was either in the suspension room or with the deans and them and they was talking to me all day. I was one of those kids. When I leave school, I was hanging with the older dudes. I was hard-headed. A lot of people tried to tell me to stay out of it but I wanted to do it myself. It was fun money. Like, I could go buy $100 of weed, shoes, without asking nobody.

You were smoking weed at 10 yshe could and it simply wasn’t enough. Then I want to talk to the OG’s (Older Gods, Original Gangsters, Etc) in the East Flatbush area that reared Bobby into the man he is today. The way Bobby was allegedly moving shows there were huge gaps in communication acommon knowledge. Perhaps, Ice-T could have schooled him, because Ice always has awesome advice for getting out of the game when a rap career takes charge.

Lastly, I think about the music industry.

Sha Money XL, an executive,  is somebody I consider a friend. He was present when the arrest occurred and subsequently released. He’s also a guy – a long running industry dude – I know to be professional, reasonable...and he cares. It just wasn’t enough. The police are here. The DA is here. The media is on this like ants at a picnic. I feel for Bobby, because I believe we are seeing his rap career careening into an abyss.

Blah. Maybe he just failed himself, but I don’t subscribe to that.

Generally, Black boys grow up without any sort of older figure to help them navigate through the trials of life. A parent doesn’t constitute a mentor.  Bobby needed guidance. He grew up misguided, possibly aimless.  There are Bobby Shmurda’s all over the nation and they need constant coaching. A moment can change your life. That moment is now. The authorities are fiending to make yet another example of Bobby Shmurda.

Part of me is mad at Bobby. I was quietly rooting for him. I was interviewed by Sowmya for medium.com and I gave Bobby a good shot at success in our chat (most of which didn’t make the edit). At some point, you just want to see people find a way to change their lives. Those choices and options are limited for a certain segment of the population, a fact lost in convoluted rhetoric about the so-called American Dream.

I wanted him to win, because he deserves to get his piece of the American Apple Pie like ever other race, creed and color. This is America, ain’t it?

Like it or not, admit it or not, the odds are stacked against the Bobby Shmurda’s of the world.

I only hope we can get to them before they are all lost in the system, only to morph into completely non-productive hood automatons. There is something special about Bobby Shmurda.  Beyonce, Drake and even I enjoyed his silly “Shmoney dance.” Now, “The rest is up to God,” as his mother said to reporters in the hours after he was arrested.

The beginning, however – before the arrests and the weed and the guns – that is up to us.

He is us.

The odds were stacked against Bobby Shmurda from the very beginning.

Bobby, real name Ackquille Jean Pollard, is a 20-year-old man that faces a myriad of serious charges after he was arrested earlier this week. Last week, Bobby was on his way. He had one of the biggest songs of 2014, got signed by Epic Records, was recording for his upcoming album in New York. Somehow, the world became Bobby’s oyster and then he lost it. When the police descended upon the young rapper and 15 of his cohorts, the authorities had lined up a litany of charges against them – gang-related shootings, drug trafficking and even murder. Bobby was charged specifically with conspiracy, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and criminally using drug paraphernalia. The infractions are serious, but they were not the beginning.

At an early age, his mother moved Bobby and his older brother to East Flatbush Brooklyn after his father was incarcerated. He would spend 15 months in a detention center and caught gun-related cases before “Hot Nigga” swept the nation. When Bobby was coming up, East Flatbush was about 91% Black or African American (U.S. Census Bureau). The population of the area was working class immigrants coming from various isnds like his mother and father, who are Jamaican and Trinidadian.

Jay Z And Russell Simmons Press N.Y. Governor Cuomo About Criminal Justice System Reform

ay Z and Russell Simmons are used to things going their way; this time, they’re hoping history is on their side. The pair of moguls met with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo Wednesday (Dec. 10) to discuss changes to the criminal justice system in New York in light of Eric Garner’s murder and the subsequent non-indictment for the police officer who killed him.
While a Cuomo aid was non-committal on the substantive points of the meeting, Simmons suggested that Cuomo pledged to have special prosecutors handle cases where police brutality is alleged.
Cuomo, the former New York State Attorney General and the Secretary Of Housing And Urban Development under President Clinton, will seek to pass a sweeping set of criminal justice reforms in 2015.

@Lil'Wayne Wants To Leave @CashMoney

Lil Wayne’s days with Cash Money are numbered. Following his shocking tweets earlier in the week, the rapper addressed his fallout with the label during a live appearance.

On Thursday, Weezy tweeted that he wants out of his deal, and that his album Tha Carter V won’t be released because Birdman and Cash Money refuse to put it out.

I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain't that easy

— Lil Wayne WEEZY F (@LilTunechi) December 4, 2014

But it looks like Weezy will soon be parting ways with Cash Money.

“It’s a fucked up situation, but I will be out of it soon, and I do it for ya’ll,” he said while performing at Vice’s 20th anniversary party in Brooklyn on Friday (via Lil Wayne HQ).

Just a day ago, his manager Cortez Bryant acted like everything was fine.

“We good,” he told TMZ. “I’m smiling. I wouldn’t be out at the club right now.”

He later tweeted, “Sarcasm at an all time high.”

It’s unclear what Wayne’s next moves are, but the door is open at G.O.O.D. Music. Pusha T has invited him to join Kanye West’s label.

Police In St.Louis Ferguson,MO Is Lying About Teen Mike Brown Murder

st. louis county is lying to you about the #mikebrown ferguson murder
image
Patricia March, ex St Louis County officer confirms what all of were already thinking:  St Louis County is corrupt and should not be entrusted with handling the Mike Brown case.
The original story was that Mike Brown had stolen candy from a store and the police were responding to a call which resulted in Mike getting shot. 10 times.
They went with this until the cashier of the store Mike Brown was at called in and said he did not steal anything and that they didn’t even call thepolice
So once that story fell through, of course they had to come up with another.
The current cover up that the police are going with at the moment is that Mike Brown assaulted a police officer and was wrestling with said police officer for his gun while in his patrol CAR. Right.
Where did the candy story they previously stood so strongly by go? Why aren’t they mentioning it anymore?
image
The story being told by eyewitnesses is that he and a friend were walking in the middle of the street going home and a cop told them to “get the [explicit] on the sidewalk”, shot Mike Brown from his CAR and then got out and shot him again. This story is similar to the one told by another eyewitness in this video.
Twitter blocked the #Ferguson tag from trending until looting started and negative media coverage began to inflitrate the tag.
The news described Mike Brown’s neighborhood community as being an angry mob and yelling ‘kill the police’ when in reality they were standing with their hands in the air chanting 'no justice no peace' with police dogs snarling and heavy artillery guns pointed at them like something straight out of the 1960s Civil Rights Movement.
image
There is an inconsistency with the police and the media, but the eyewitness accounts remain the same.
Remember #MikeBrown and how he was murdered in cold blood, demand for justice and change and don’t settle for poorly constructed lies.

Mike Brown Friend Who Was With Him The Day The Police Murdered Him Speaks Out ! #STL #Ferguson

                                           #JUSTICE4MIKE #JUSTICE4JOHNSON
The officer demanded that the two “get the f—k on the sidewalk,” Dorian Johnson says. “His exact words were get the f—k on the sidewalk.”

After telling the officer that they were almost at their destination, Johnson’s house, the two continued walking. But as they did, Johnson says the officer slammed his brakes and threw his truck in reverse, nearly hitting them.

Now, in line with the officer’s driver’s side door, they could see the officer’s face. They heard him say something to the effect of, “what’d you say?” At the same time, Johnson says the officer attempted to thrust his door open but the door slammed into Brown and bounced closed. Johnson says the officer, with his left hand, grabbed Brown by the neck.
“I could see the muscles in his forearm,” Johnson said. “Mike was trying to get away from being choked.”

“They’re not wrestling so much as his arm went from his throat to now clenched on his shirt,” Johnson explained of the scene between Brown and the officer. “It’s like tug of war. He’s trying to pull him in. He’s pulling away, that’s when I heard, ‘I’m gonna shoot you.’”

At that moment, Johnson says he fixed his gaze on the officer to see if he was pulling a stun gun or a real gun. That’s when he saw the muzzle of the officer’s gun.

“I seen the barrel of the gun pointed at my friend,” he said. “He had it pointed at him and said ‘I’ll shoot,’ one more time.”

A second later Johnson said he heard the first shot go off.

“I seen the fire come out of the barrell,” he said. “I could see so vividly what was going on because I was so close.”

Johnson says he was within arm’s reach of both Brown and the officer. He looked over at Brown and saw blood pooling through his shirt on the right side of the body.

“The whole time [the officer] was holding my friend until the gun went off,” Johnson noted.

Brown and Johnson took off running together. There were three cars lined up along the side of the street. Johnson says he ducked behind the first car, whose two passengers were screaming. Crouching down a bit, he watched Brown run past.

“Keep running, bro!,” he said Brown yelled. Then Brown yelled it a second time. Those would be the last words Johnson’s friend, “Big Mike,” would ever say to him.

Brown made it past the third car. Then, “blam!” the officer took his second shot, striking Brown in the back. At that point, Johnson says Brown stopped, turned with his hands up and said “I don’t have a gun."

By that point, Johnson says the officer and Brown were face-to-face. The officer then fired several more shots. Johnson described watching Brown go from standing with his hands up to crumbling to the ground and curling into a fetal position.
“After seeing my friend get gunned down, my body just ran,” he said. He ran to his apartment nearby. Out of breath, shocked and afraid, Johnson says he went into the bathroom and vomited. Then he checked to make sure that he hadn’t also been shot.

Five minutes later, Johnson emerged from his apartment to see his friend Mike dead and in the middle of the street.

The fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager Saturday by a police officer in a St. Louis suburb came after a struggle for the officer’s gun, police officials said Sunday, in an explanation that met with outrage and skepticism in the largely African-American community.
The killing of the youth, Michael Brown, 18, ignited protests on Saturday and Sunday in Ferguson, Mo., a working-class suburb of about 20,000 residents. Hundreds of people gathered at the scene of the shooting to question the police and to light candles for Mr. Brown, who was planning to begin college classes on Monday.
Mr. Brown’s stepfather, Louis Head, held a cardboard sign that said, “Ferguson police just executed my unarmed son.”
At a news conference on Sunday morning, the St. Louis County police chief, Jon Belmar, said that a man had been shot and killed after he had assaulted a police officer and the two had struggled over the officer’s gun inside his patrol car. At least one shot was fired from inside the car, Chief Belmar said.

“The genesis of this was a physical confrontation,” Chief Belmar told reporters.
But elected officials and advocacy groups called for a full investigation and questioned the tactics of the police, who acknowledged that Mr. Brown had been unarmed. Antonio French, a city councilman in St. Louis, was at the scene of the protests on Sunday and said in an interview that more than 100 people had gathered, most of them silently standing in groups, some leaving behind teddy bears and balloons to memorialize Mr. Brown.
Mr. French said he was unsatisfied with the police department’s explanation of the shooting.
“I find it hard to believe,” he said, adding that he was disappointed with the police response in the aftermath of the shooting, which further distressed Ferguson residents and members of Mr. Brown’s family.
“It’s a textbook example of how not to handle the situation,” Mr. French said. “Ferguson has a white government and a white mayor, but a large black population. This situation has brought out whatever rifts were between that minority community and the Ferguson government.”
Esther Haywood, the president of the N.A.A.C.P. in St. Louis County, said in a statement: “We are hurt to hear that yet another teenaged boy has been slaughtered by law enforcement, especially in light of the recent death of Eric Garner in New York, who was killed for selling cigarettes. We plan to do everything within our power to ensure that the Ferguson Police Department as well as the St. Louis County Police Department releases all details pertinent to the shooting. We strongly encourage residents to stay away from the crime scene so that no additional citizens are injured.”
The police on Sunday said they were still trying to sort out the exact details, but they released what they said was the fullest account of the shooting that they could provide. Just after noon on Saturday, the police said, an officer in a patrol car approached Mr. Brown and another man. As the officer began to leave his vehicle, one of the men pushed the officer back into the car and “physically assaulted” him, according to the police department’s account.
A struggle occurred “over the officer’s weapon,” and at least one shot was fired inside the car, Chief Belmar said. The two left the car, and the officer shot Mr. Brown about 35 feet away from the vehicle, the police reported. Several shots were fired from the officer’s weapon.
The medical examiner for St. Louis County is investigating to determine how many times Mr. Brown was shot, the police said.
Chief Belmar said that the Ferguson police chief, Thomas Jackson, had called him personally and asked that his department to look into the shooting because Chief Jackson wanted an independent investigation. Chief Belmar said that the St. Louis County prosecuting attorney would determine whether the shooting was justified or charges should be filed.

As Chief Belmar spoke at a televised news conference, chants of “Don’t shoot!” and “We want answers!” could be heard from the protesters who had gathered outside the Ferguson police headquarters.
At a candlelight vigil on Sunday evening, the heightened tensions between the police and the African-American community were on display. A crowd estimated in the thousands flooded the streets near the scene of the shooting, some of them chanting “No justice, no peace.” They were met by hundreds of police officers in riot gear, carrying rifles and shields, as well as K-9 units.
Witnesses described a peaceful protest that later turned volatile, and there were scattered reports of violence. Images and videos captured on cellphones and posted on social media sites appeared to show people spray-painting and looting a QuikTrip gas station and other stores. Rioters shattered the windows of the gas station and damaged several police cars, said Brian Lewis, a spokesman for the St. Louis County Police Department.
It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured or arrested during the protests. County officials did not return calls and messages seeking comment.
Community and civic leaders pleaded for calm and to allow the investigation to run its course.
“We have to do this in a constructive manner,” Mayor James Knowles III of Ferguson said in an interview with a local Fox television station.
The officer who shot Mr. Brown has been on the force about six years and will be interviewed extensively by detectives on Sunday, the police said. They did not identify the officer involved by either name or rank.
“Any other details, including the reason as to why the encounter occurred and the initial struggle ensued, are still a part of the continuing investigation,” the police said in a statement.
Family members of Mr. Brown said that he had been walking to his grandmother’s house when the shooting occurred. His body remained in the street for some time, guarded by the police, while neighbors gathered in the area.
Police officials, fearing civil disorder, dispatched officers with police dogs to control the crowds. In response, some Twitter users posted pictures of the dogs at the Ferguson gathering on Saturday next to photos of police dogs used to control African-American crowds during the Jim Crow era.
Mr. Brown had just graduated from high school and was planning to attend Vatterott College, his mother, Lesley McSpadden, told reporters. His family has retained Benjamin Crump, the lawyer who represented Trayvon Martin’s relatives.
“You took my son away from me,” she told the television news station KMOV. “Do you know how hard it was for me to get him to stay in school and graduate? You know how many black men graduate? Not many. Because you bring them down to this type of level, where they feel like they don’t got nothing to live for anyway. ‘They’re going to try to take me out anyway.’ ”
