Chance the rapper. Everybody's heard of him by now. This former underground rapper has forged his way to the top with fire and steel.

This man deserves some respect. Coming out of Chatham, the 5th most dangerous neighborhood in Chicago, Chancelor Johnathan Bennett started gaining a reputation in 2013 after releasing his second mixtape, "Acid Rap." Chance, now 23, was ranked #3 by Complex Magazine's "20 Best Rappers In Their 20s," following behind Drake, 29, at #2 and Kendrick, also 29, at #1. This former underground rapper shocked the game in 2016 after his release of the new hit single, "No Problem," featuring mainstream artists Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz. Chance even received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Rap Song following the release. Most recently Chance has been seen on social media working with the famed DJ Khaled. Khaled quotes, " IM UP TO SOMETHING...EVERYTHING TOP SECRET!!!!"

Here's a pic shared online of Charlie Murphy and series star Omari Hardwick aka “Ghost” on set. It looks like Charlie Murphy will be portraying a United States Marshall. He will be joining the fourth season of Power on Starz. Power, which is executive produced by rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Courtney A. Kemp (The Good Wife) returns this summer on the heels of Ghost’s highly publicized arrest for the murder of FBI Agent Greg Knox — a crime he did not commit. I know all my Power fans can't wait!

Alleged Piru gang member/ rapper Soulja Boy aka Yung Draco aka Big Soulja home got burglarized on Tuesday (Jan. 10) in Los Angeles. In accordance with what's been going on, the Chris Brown beef, or just Breezy, will surely somehow be blamed.

 Reports TMZ: Law enforcement sources tell us a man busted into Soulja’s Hollywood Hills home early Tuesday morning. After busting the front door down the crook nabbed $10k in cash and $12k in jewelry. We’re told SB wasn’t home at the time of the burglary … but his house is wired with surveillance cameras, one of which captured the suspect’s image. TMZ broke the story …

Soulja and Chris Brown are taking their feud into a boxing ring — probably in Dubai. Wack 100, who’s siding squarely with Big Soulja, says very clearly the fight is being controlled by West Coast gangs. Chris’ team, which includes Mike Tyson, begs to differ. 50 has stirred up some drama with some “real shooters”. 50 Cent posted a video of a guy challenging Kodak Black as he claims to be holding it down for Lil Wayne as a real street n-gga. 50 Cent posted an Instagram post that read,

A source close to Sonye tells us she and Meek hooked up years before Nicki, but she and him fully denies any cheating. We’re told Sonye’s is about to file defamation lawsuits against several outlets because of the allegations towards her & Meek. We’re also told Sonye understands truth is a defense, but she has no fear.

So far, Nicki Minaj has been silent on social media since the big reveal that she was single. We all know she's in the studio cooking up something dope right now!
